A small family team with big aspirations!!
We have many years of showing experience at all levels with lead rein show ponies and m&m`s, show ponies, intermediate show riding types, hacks and riding horses. Ourselves and our friends competing often against the top show producers in the country and often beating them to the red rosette!. We have spent years observing and perfecting both our showing attire and ring craft to create the perfect combination.
We currently have my mothers pony ‘Sianwood Goldcrest’ - Section B lead rein show/ show hunter pony and ‘Myretown Ruby’ - Champion Intermediate show riding type, part bred Arab and small Hack who is now semi-retired. With four children, four dogs, chickens, two pet ponies and Hazel the stable cat we have plenty to do when the show season finishes but when it does its also time to stock up on the best quality materials to begin making orders for the next season!. All our close friends dress their horses in our browbands including Charlotte Sailsbury with her Champion ROR and Riding horse ‘Mickey Croake’ a regular combination at the major shows and HOYS!!

We are regulars at the following show venues and always have a few browbands for sale with us and also examples of the different materials availiable i.e crystal ribbon, crystal rings and crystal centre peices, colours or ribbon etc etc, for you to create a bespoke browband from… Barton Equestrian Centre, Osbaldeston Riding Centre, Valiants Equestrian Centre, Rossendale & Hyndburn Equestrian Centre, Morecambe Bay Riding Club, Lakes Riding Club, Garstang & District Horse & Pony Club plus all the County / agricultural shows - Cheshire county and the Royal Windsor being our favorites! With all these to choose from and all the shows we attend there, you are bound to bump into us!
Over the years we have found one of the judges main dislikes in the show ring is ill fitting tack, fashion bits and over the top browbands. At Go Browbands we try to make the perfect browband for your horse or pony that is going to be admired by the judge, not frowned upon. We use the best quality materials and adhesives to ensure your browband will last for years to come and still look like new.
Browbands are a beautiful way to complete your show turn out and if designed by yourself can be a very personal piece of tack, as a well made browband will go through many shows with you and your horse. Being able to put your browband on display with your Horse of the Year show rosette is a once in a lifetime achievement for many!.

It can sometimes be daunting in the ring, especially at your first BIG show up against the professionals. We can give many tips on how to look just as professional, such as “less is more” and a smart well fitting quality second hand jacket looks so much neater and is often cheaper to buy than a new polyester economy jacket that are often ill fitting and spoil the overall effect, always use cotton for plaits if possible and we have some great designs for quarter marks- photos coming soon!!.
